Effects on an Child Obese Kid
I was an obese kid and I want to tell you a little about the psychological effect that child obesity
can have on a kid. To long was the psychological effect of obesity wiped away and not considered as one. It is a shame because I suffered a lot under my weight problem. I am sure your kid does too.
The Ongoing Teasing and Bullying Played Huge Negative Mind
Games
How many times do you hear, it is still a kid and once older the kid will grow out of that "baby fat". Did you tell that yourself already? If I would have gotten a cent for every time I heard I would spend my life on an private island by now! But I was in good hope. unfortunately it did not seem so in my case. So, the bullying and teasing kept on. With the ongoing teasing and bullying my poor and negative body and self-image started to grow. Along with it came the unwillingness of finding things to do except spending lots of time in front of the TV. At least I had one new friend who was not laughing at me, but entertaining me. Of course, the human soul craves for love, attention, and friendship. So, with all un-or wrong paid attention I started isolating myself more and more. At the same time, I did not stop eating all the massive sugar contained food I could possibly lay my hand on. Nobody saw the inner cry for help I was such in demand for. And the isolation reduced my physical activities to an once a week event in physical education at school. Is your kid going through the same destructive adventure? I bet it is!
Start Helping Your Kid
Start helping your kid not only on a physical level which is an absolute important and vital part to the body. Start to work under the shelf, the soul, of your kid. When you start with really trying in love to understand the pain and agony of what is going through your kid's mind, it will be so much easier to help it. Because with the physical and psychological problem, the medical problem might be only a food step away.
