subject: Review of Criminal Minds Season 5 Episode 12 [print this page] Season 5 episode 12 of the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds kicked off last night and once again proved faithful in tracking and capturing psychos. The episode had the Behavioral Analysis Unit trying to track down a killer who was leaving the bodies of dead women at various childrens hangouts throughout town. The first body was found on a carousel by a hapless security guard. The creepy part was the body of the woman was made up to look like a life size doll. And not the kind of dolls they have nowadays, but those old school creepy dolls that look like theyre about to come to life and kill you. Anyway, the team pieces together all of the clues and figures that the perpetrator must be a woman. Woohoo! Score one for the guys! Bout time all of these shows stop portraying men as the only ones who are despicable enough to commit heinous crimeseven though for the most part that is true. Turns out our perpetrator is an avid doll collector who is trying to put back together her doll collection she lost when she was a little girl, but for some deranged reason she decided to use grown women instead. What made it even creepier was the fact that she would drug her victims so they were physically unable to move, but were still awake. My favorite scene was the life size tea party she had with all of her victims. The IV bags full of narcotics around the table really added to the ambiance I thought. In the end, the team found the final piece to the puzzle when they interviewed the womans father. Now good old dad apparently used shock therapy on his daughter and liked to molest little girls so I guess in the end it was a mans fault. Well, thats my two cents on Criminal Minds, excuse me while I go and throw away all of my daughters Barbie dolls. Brenda R, Staff Writer, www.tvshowbase.comWatch Shows Online
