subject: Star Trek Is An Orgy Of Special And Computer Effects [print this page] STrek takes is a prologue to the TV series and tells how all the crew of the ship Enterprise ever ended up there. However, we must all follow James Kirk and Spock when their relationship is more in the center of the action.
A ship with the Romulans have skymtats and it turns out that it is the same ship as 25 years ago destroyed the Kirk's father's ships. Their motive is to destroy planets when their own was in the context of a black hole appeared. Spock and Kirk are very different and their difference of opinion creates problems for the crew.
I can first say that I'm so far away from a trekkie you can get.
sto credits,I have on my height seen a half section of the original series and not any of the films. Since the film is intended as a film that will be the beginning of the course, everything seemed to be a great way to find out whether it was successful as a rookie as I saw it.
Not surprising then Star Trek is an orgy of special and computer effects, which are already there doing the movie theater experience to the attraction. The characters are fairly shallow, but given that there are more intrigues which are in focus and to get everyone who is with the crew before the movie finishes, it's probably a choice has to be accepted. The choice of actors is very interesting, since only a few are really known and those who play Kirk and Spock in particular are known from TV shows or more low-key movies.
As an introduction, I must say that the film succeeds very well, it is not difficult to comply with the act and there is stuff on the conveyor belt so you do not lose interest. It was surprising to see Eric Bana as onding, especially when I did not recognize it was him, and Karl Urban as Bones ... especially when he is quite similar to the original actress.
On the other hand, I had not so much an eye on the rest of the crew except Spock, Kirk, Bones and Scotty so therefore I had no "Aha ... HE / SHE!"-Feeling when I saw the movie. I'm even more of a sci-fi action type so on that front, I got quite a bit stimulus with a majority of all the action scenes were stridsbataljer out in space.
To sum it all it was an entertaining sci-fi roller with some nice replica exchanges, nice effects and good flow. The movie has enough action to get a fiver and it is a tad too much done for the fans to satisfy the non-target. A weak four lands, however, sto credits, and it's not bad for someone so uninitiated in the Star Trek universe as I do.
