Typically, you will find taxes lower than half the normal amount paid here in San Clemente. This tax rate continues as you own the home as long as you keep the historical home true to it's historic nature. Any exterior changes to the home would first go through "The Mills Act" as an agreement for the tax incentive you recieve.
