Why They Prevent You From Making A Commission Check, And How To Change That Permanently
Why does network marketer A make $8.00 a month and network marketer B make $8000? The answer is quite simply stated, person B brings more value to the marketplace.
95 out of 100 network marketers barely make a commission check, while some can practically write their own check. Why is that? They bring more value to the marketplace.
First, one must understand exactly what is deemed valuable to the marketplace. Once that is established, you go ahead and give them what they are looking for. Sounds too simple right?
Here is the caveat. Not all people, in fact very few people, will make the sacrifice to learn or attain the skill that can be taught, and shared with the market.
Jim Yaghi didn't wake up one morning and suddenly realize he had the best strategy for PPC. He took the time to learn how Google works. He did hours of research. The result? He is the most respected man out there in terms of PPC advertising. He set the standard.
Jim Rohn said it best, "Spend more time working on yourself than on your business." Jim Yaghi spent time investing in himself, so he could present himself as the authority in a marketplace, by demonstrating and sharing knowledge other marketers needed badly.
Some folks think that being the loudest voice, shouting their new ground floor opportunity out to anyone and everyone, is value.
I was once told by someone on Facebook who practiced this marketing strategy, that he was bringing value to the group by letting them know that his opportunity is more lucrative than theirs. I asked him if he realizes that many people's wall he is reaching, could give a rat's ass about his MLM business. His reply? They will benefit from learning about this life changing opportunity as well.
This man may have been a bit narcissistic, but many people believe this. Others whoare SPAMMING, don't know any better and react well when given a better alternative that enables them to gain real credibility.
For those who are asking why this marketing strategy is NOT sound, let me try to explain. The internet is like a place with many parties' happening. These parties' usually consist of like minded people who have gotten to know each other. Then along comes someone who wasn't invited, and promptly calls for everyone to be quiet. He then goes into a frenetic rant about his new business that will make everyone $5k monthly on a $25 investment.
Every 10 minutes, this same person does this over and over. The same pitch. It makes it impossible to concentrate on the conversation you are having.
Try to get a mental picture of this event where there are hundreds of people gathered. One person grabs the mic and calls for everyone to be quiet, then rambles on about his ground floor opportunity.
Try to imagine how everyone there feels about this annoying intrusion. What is the look on their faces? Disbelief? Anger?
Whats worse is he interrupts you every 10 minutes. Pretty soon people want to know who let this guy in.
That is why it is not a good marketing strategy. Still don't believe me? Go into a forum and post your silly pitch. See how fast you get booted. Does this tell you something about the way people feel about SPAMMERS? It should.
