Dual Speccing In Cataclysm - Best Dual Speccing Tips In WoW Cataclysmic Blueprint

Getting a dual talent specialization in which your character has two completely different sets of talent points, and can switch back and forth between them is a highly useful thing for a World of Warcraft character to have. Formerly, it was also a very costly one. It could not be done until level 40, and it required a payment of no less than 1,000 gold to your class trainer.

This price meant that people usually reserved it for their most important characters, and that it was completely out of reach of new players or those who had just rolled up characters on a new server without transferring a money-laden character from their old server (something requiring real money).

With the coming of the Cataclysm expansion, dual spec is available to any character at 30 ten levels sooner than of yore and costs only 1% of what it did a month or two ago. Your eyes do not deceive you the price of dual spec is now 10 gold, and with the increased availability of money at lower levels which is also part of the expansion, you can now afford it on every character.

Needless to say, you should get it. Dual spec is a boon to practically every class, and here's the reason why. Your characters will have a definite edge in the game, and you will be able to get what you want out of it far easier than previously.

For classes that can spec for multiple roles, the benefits are obvious. If your character is a warrior, say, this means that you can spec for Fury and Protection at little cost. That way, when you are out on your own leveling through quests, running dailies, or whatever, you can change your spec to Fury for a quick kill and efficient leveling. When you want to run an instance, putting on your tanking spec will ensure that you have a good tank for the dungeon, plus will get you into the place much faster tanks and healers always have shorter queues than DPS, who are a dime a dozen.

For single-role classes, such as rogues and mages, there are still benefits to be reaped from a dual spec, and greater efficiency to be had as well. For example, if you are a mage, then one of your specializations can be Fire for raid and instance DPS.

However, you can also spec your character for Frost as the secondary talent specialization, and use your character in PvP as well. This gives you another option for earning experience and rewards, and for enjoying the game, without hindering the other purpose of the character.
