Recently while I was unemployed I embarked upon a brand new way of searching for a job. This was a very successful practice as I found that only a few days after being laid off I was able to get an interview. A week later I had another interview and after only 3 weeks I had been hired. In this economy that is a very quick turnaround. Make sure you use your connections to your advantage keep in mind that they wont hesitate to use you if the need arises. Be smart and focused in your job search. Keep your spirits up and know your stuff. Dont get lazy but instead keep your resume polished and your interview skills up to date. Have you suit cleaned and if you have to make yourself a to-do list then do it. Attitude and organization are essential to a well balanced job search.
