subject: Zipper Ties: The New Convenience For Restaurant Uniforms [print this page]

Zipper ties are relatively new in the family tree of neckties, and these are even more convenient and more realistic than their predecessors, the clip on ties. Basically, these are wrapped around the neck and zipped up to not only fit quickly and comfortably but also to look as real as the traditional tied knotted neckties are without all of the fuss. The best place to find these handy and convenient accessories is on the Internet at restaurant supply websites.

Along with these great new little accessories are traditional rules of the road when it comes to wearing them, and although the convenience of the necktie has changed, these little simple rules really have not:

1.The length of the necktie is one mistake that more men make than any other mistake. They adjust them in ways that make them hang either too long or too short. When they are properly worn, they should just graze the top of a mans pants. Using the new zipper ties can really help out with this dilemma, because they are available in numerous different lengths. Employers usually buy quite an array of different lengths so that instead of messing with tying them to the right length they just have to hold it up and see if it will be a good length or not, saving quite a lot of time.

2.Do not let your employees tuck the narrow back of the necktie into the label that is sewn at the wide part of it. This is because the neckties are made to have some natural movement if absolutely necessary, use a tie tack, or have the employees use the zipper ties to eliminate this entire problem right from the start!

3.With a traditional tie, employees have to fight to get the actual know of it just right so that it does not look ridiculous on them. A knot that is too narrow looks wimpy and awkward, and it is preferable to tie a strong Double Windsor knot instead. What is this knot? Without zipper ties your staff would have to learn all about those, too. Who has time for that?

4.Finally, traditional necktie wearers need to watch out for dimples throughout the accessory and the knot. While some think that no knot is a good knot, others think that it does not matter if they are present as long as they are centered in the necktie. With zipper ties though, your staff members will never have to worry about this issue, either.
