Sistema Shyam launches MTS services in Gujarat

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), a joint venture between India's Shyam Group and Russia's biggest listed company which has revenue of USD 19 billion per year, launched its mobile telephony brand MTS in Gujrat.SSTL president and CEO Vsevolod Rozanov reported that company will invest Rs. 100 crore in upcoming months to spread its wings in the Gujrat State. With this invest, the company to open over 150 dealers and 31000 retail outlets for the customer convenience. He said, the company is planing to launch high speed mobile broadband services in the Gujrat. This plan will be executed in the first quarter of 2011.The company is providing 1/2 paisa per second tariff plan for the customers which is nationally successful, said SSTL chief operation officer (Gujrat) Navid Rashid. This concept enables MTS customers to derive best value for money invested in mobile services and handset.Russia's biggest listed company Sistema which gets revenues of USD 19 billion annul has 73.71 percent shares in this venture. The Shyam Group has 23.79 percent share direct and 2.5 percent through public share. At present the company has 13 telecom circles in all India including Western region.Meanwhile, Techom launched a series of handsets in India including T21, T31, T33, T51, T55, T60 and TQ21.the Gujrat State.
