So it seems the evolution of 3D TV is to steal your money! Yeah, they are cool but if it's overkill then the Samsung UN46C6300SF will put a smile on your face for less than a thousand smackers.
I remember 3 years ago drooling over these 46 inch TV's and trying to decide on which brand to partake in, Samsung was always the most cost effective and had the best reviews so it was a no brainer. Problem was that these HDTV's were near 3,000 dollars and out of my price range, so I stay starring at them with drool dripping from my lip.
Today is a different story, 3 years later and a 46 inch TV with 120 hertz is considered obsolete, that is flat out Blasphemy! Think about it, do you really need or want that phony and tacky 3D effect and 480 hz of fast motion sensory turning your dramatic film to look like a soap opera that was shot on cheap tape, strange eh?
I say this with a grain of salt, because in fact I do love the new 3D but no the multi-thousand dollar price tag. When the iPad came out I thought it was a joke, that was until I became addicted to it while playing around on it in the Apple Store. So yeah, it's cool to have all that gadgetry.
However, not everybody can afford a big expensive TV like that these days, even when they are discounted. So again, what do your really want? Are the Internet applications a must, is the 3D a must even though it is limited in what you can view? Bottom line, a kick butt 46 inch TV for under a Grand is the Samsung (model number - UN46C6300SF).
