University officials want you to think that. Recently, in my hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado College which is probably the most expensive college in Colorado-it is very, very expensive and in a good part of town, has seen incidents of assaults on female college students since last October. Two nights ago, another female was assaulted by three white males.
That scene is repeated on a regular basis on nearly every college campus around the country.
Self defense products are a group of products that provide a nonlethal alternative to deadly force and allow you an opportunity to get away from a potentially dangerous situation. The most common ones are stun guns and pepper sprays. They are on average close to 90 percent effective and will disable an assailant for anywhere from 5 to 45 minutes.

If you think crime can only happen to the other guy you are wrong. The "other guy" is thinking the same thing and to him you are that "other guy". There is a reason why they call it self defense. You have to protect yourself, your family, your home and business!!
Chances are if you are reading this that crime has touched your life in some way or you consider yourself at risk. Take the next step and do something to protect yourself! Your life and safety is worth far more than the cost of self defense course.
