Everyone knows that Britney had turned herself into a giant couch potato. But now, Britney has shocked the world and turned her life around by losing tremendous amounts of weight. How did she do it? What is the secret of her weight loss? I'll give you a hint: It's not a magic pill or some miracle diet.
The reality is that Britney has been losing weight the old fashioned way: She eats very little and works out a lot. An awful lot. Her routine starts with a personal trainer several times a day, 5 days a week.
This already put the plan out of reach for most Americans. After-all, who has time to go to the gym several times a day? For that matter, it's generally considered unhealthy to go several times a day. My personal trainer told me to go three times a week. But that's not all. She also does an amazing 1,000 stomach crunches every single day in addition to her insane fitness regime.
Now I'm no expert and I'm not one to talk. I mean, I'm definitely overweight myself and I should get to the gym much more often, but even I know that losing weight as quickly as Britney has is not healthy for the body. The Britney Spears fitness regime may seem wonderful, but she is weakening her body tremendously by doing so much in so short a time.
A Navy Seal or Army Ranger she isn't (Navy Seals and Army Rangers train specially for endurance and are able to withstand tremendous strain on their bodies which would kill an ordinary person without that special training. But it takes years of hard work for them to get themselves into the kind of shape they need to be in for that kind of work).
In addition to the fact that Britney has such a crazy fitness schedule, the Britney Spears fitness regime also dictates that she must eat tiny meals each day.
This is actually a good thing as by balancing her meals into six small portions, she is able to keep hunger at bay while still eating less. Though in Britney's case, as in every thing else, she is doing it to the extreme, eating just 1,200 calories a day. Ouch. Working out like crazy and starving. Not exactly a good way to live.
