My Review
So I tested this shapewear body briefer at a friend's wedding last month. I wore a fitted, light gray dress. There was not much 'give' in this dress, so you can see the outline of your butt and thigh. I was very happy to hear that Spanx Skinny Britches range come in larger sizes to accommodate my figure. I love summer time and fortunately here in Florida, it is summer 90% of the time. But I get hot and sweaty very quickly and the last thing I want to wear is restrictive clothing - let alone with shapewear underneath. So this thigh shaper was the perfect thigh slimming solution for me.
My thighs naturally rub together, so the fact that with Skinny Britches I got no friction or pinching when I walked felt A-mazing. To get the desired effect I needed, I wore 3 layers - this gave me a bit more of a hold on my stomach and completely shaped my thighs so they didn't stick to the fabric of my dress. One layer for me, didn't really make much of a difference - though I could be enough for the slimmer ladies. Two - three layers is a perfect semi-firm control shapewear, and at $42 each, it was worth the 'need to look good at a wedding' investment.
