Since this is different and unique than other television sets, the role is just the same. One of their main roles for the customers is to give pure entertainment like no other, in order to escape from boredom.

Cable and satellite TV has the same thing with digital television, but they are different from each other. When it comes to satellite and cable television, they only use an analog signal that transmits between them and the local TV provider. It simply means that they can only watch one channel at a time, and it has no multicast feature. Digital TV is like a personal computer (PC) or laptop which allows multitasking. An average number of channels that you may watch on digital TV are ranged from four to ten channels. If you can compare between digital television and other television sets, the quality was so extraordinary. It simply means that you may watch up to ten channels at the same time in your TV screen, and that's pretty cool for you and other viewers. Another role for digital TV to its customers is to be provided with good quality service like no other. Services are meant to be rendered by any cable, satellite or digital TV provider, and it is one of their main objectives.

If the customer has problems of his or her digital TV, they might call the customer service hotline, or email them a support ticket. The quality of a digital service provider may depend on your TV's reception, customer service performance and the package you have subscribed. You have to make sure that it is worth for you to subscribe with your respective provider that offers digital TV, especially in small-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD). Building relationships to their customers are one of the important roles to their business, and they must apply it all the time.

Even if the customer is not friendly at all, you have to be cool by yourself. Your role for the digital television customers is to act friendly when answering their questions and complaints. If you attempt to be angry with your complaining customer, you might lose him and the others. They might leave a bad comment or feedback for your actions against them. We have to be cool in terms of dealing with our customer, especially those who are complaining. Having a role to a local TV provider is considered to be a huge responsibility, and you have to comply with that. We shall do everything in order to entertain our customers with digital television, and it may guarantee our business to run for long.
