When i attempted to flash my Sapphire 4850 with ATI Winflash It failed and I rebooted he computer.I know my motherboard has two slots and I will have a second PCI card with me.Whenever I plug the card now,the PC won't even post.While I unplug it and use the integrated graphics, it is pretty fine. I am trying to flash from DOS, but how can I do it if the computer does not even post when the card is plugged?Can any one offer some kind of help here my Overclocking & Computer Modification

Do you have the modded bios file?.You should still be able to mod the back file to original then reflash using a another gfx in the second PCI slot.When I didn't mod the original bios,I was running a 11.007 version beforehand if I recall correctly. But for some odd reason I flashed a 11.004 instead of a later version. But hoping that some kind soul here could upload a newer bios to help me The result I flashed in the first place was to get the gpu below the current clock of 500/993 in idle to save power. my Overclocking & Computer Modification
My friend has some kind of issues just like you the flash issue they ended up having to RMA the card..I think the second card trick will work.That's what the guys @ techpowerup told me.Also you could check the bios size..IIRC it's about 1mbit issue or something. not really sure, been a while since i touched bios
Bro, I should tell When your computer crashed, it may annoy your cards bios flash. Your going to have to look for the warranty on your card, and start a RMA on the 4850.Which is the card that should be running is the in the 1 slot. Have you tried removing the card and just running the 4850 again ?
