Fix Registry Errors - How to Make Your PC Run Faster by Fixing Registry Errors

Everyone who has a computer should get into the practice of regularly cleaning the registry. Can you remember when you first purchased your computer and the optimum output it had? There is nothing to say that your computer should not perform at the same levels of that very first day. It is true that as your computer ages it can and will slow down, but we can prevent that happening by great extents by purchasing or downloading a good registry cleaner to help solve the problem.

So why do we need a registry cleaner and how can it help to improve our computer's output? To put it simply, every time you download software or movies it requires space on your computer. The more space you use the slower your computer will run - that doesn't mean that you should now delete everything from the computer. However, if there is software that you no longer need, or those movies have been watched then maybe it is time to remove them. This is where the registry cleaner comes in - every time that you delete something from the computer some traces of that software will remain and continue to be stored. It is very difficult to go through and delete loose ends manually and should be avoided if you don't know what your looking for.

Before you run the registry cleaner it would be a good time to delete and remove any unwanted files and software. To delete software you must go to the control panel and 'add/remove software' option. Carefully select those you wish to delete and then empty your recycle bin.

When cleaning your registry, there are downloads that are entirely free, but try and get some information prior to prove that they function well and don't carry any malware. It might be better to purchase one if you intend to use it often as they include many extra features that the free versions won't. Once you have your chosen registry cleaner, install it and perform a registry back-up. To do this, go into 'start', followed by 'run' and type in the text 'regedit'. A new window will open on your screen - click on 'file' and then 'export' which will provide you with a copy of your existing registry. Save this copy to a USB stick or CD.

Now it is safe to run the registry cleaner. It will remove all redundant files from windows installer, regenerate any missing DLL files and pick-up on any spyware or other viruses lurking in your registry. On completion a list of all the problems will appear which you can remove in one go. Restart your computer now and you should notice a huge difference in it's performance.
