How to Pick Primary And Secondary WoW Professions

If you are like me and enjoy playing world of warcraft then you know how important levelling up your character can be. Of course it is important to level up quickly. At lower levels you get killed a lot and the game can be frustrating. It doesn't take long to realise that there is more to world of warcraft than just levelling up your character. Take the professions for example!

Before you pick a profession you should bear a few things in mind. When you pick your primary profession, and your secondary profession, it is a good idea to do a little research into the professions (and your character's class) first. Many new players choose professions that are completely useless to their character and style of game-play. However, it can also be used to create items that can be sold at the auction house.

With a great many professions it is possible to use them for the benefit of an entire group and not just your own character.Once you can create desirable items that your group needs you can create additional items and sell them for gold at the auction house.

Choosing professions is not just dependant on your class (although this is the most important consideration). You should ensure both professions are complimentary to each other. Mining and jewelcrafting are two examples of complimentary professions.

It takes different things to level up different professions. If you hate grinding and farming then perhaps tailoring is not for you as you need a lot of cloth (which you usually get off dead enemies). If you find it hard to make gold then perhaps jewelcrafting I snot for you either!

When you choose professions for your avatar be sure to take into consideration the class that you are. Professions work really well when they compliment your class. A warrior for example would do well with blacksmithing while that profession would be useless to a priest!

If you are having trouble picking additional professions after your primary one is chosen then you should consider choosing enchanting. This neat profession will let you disenchant any item that you can't get sold so you can sell the shards or dust from it.

The key to levelling up your profession fast is not to follow the same route as everyone else.Players often find that without a plan for levelling up their skill points it can take a very long time to become proficient at a profession.
