Painting and Decorating can be quite a vague term as it applies to so many types of work. There is much more to the job than just painting. Painters are now required to prepare all surfaces prior to starting a job, they will have to make sure all walls and surfaces are prepared whether this is by filling in holes and cracks in walls or taping up areas which are not to be painted, they may also have to pick and buy the paint which is going to be used.
