The structure of the bakkie made up of a passenger section and then a load box. The load box is a flatbed, which the heavy material rests on. The flatbed is surrounded by four panels, which enclose the rectangular bed to form a box. The panels can also be detached completely which allows you to transport even bigger objects granted that the objects are secured properly.
Safety First
When transporting heavy objects at the back of a bakkie, always be sure to be very vigilant about safety. Objects must be properly secured to the back of the bakkie, to retention rings and cam latches, so that the load is securely tired. Goods falling off the flat bed happens all the time because they are not securely fastened. This results in loss and damage of good, and can also be the cause of many major accidents.
