If you haven't chosen a business yet, then these are the main things to look for in your new venture!
Do your research and look for a business that meets these seven criteria. First, it should offer unique products. Now, what that means is that whatever you are going to be selling should be different and special enough to almost sell itself! Second, check the compensation plan really carefully. If you only stand to earn $25 per sale, how long will it take you to reach your financial goal? Does your success depend of the performance of others? Third, does the business offer a proven, duplicable marketing system? Marketing IS, after all, what you will be doing. So, do they give you a system that really works? Fourth, research the company management. Check their track record and credentials. Make sure they are the real deal! Fifth, does the business have room to expand? Can it go global? Is it saturated? Sixth, do they offer REAL support and training? Now, all network marketing programs offer to give you support and training. But, can you pick up the phone and talk to a living, breathing human being even before joining? Finally, does the company give back? Is it a company with heart? See, I honestly believe that you only get back in proportion to what you give. So, join a company with those kinds of values.
Develop a "Millionaire Mindset"
(Kudos to Jeffrey Combs for the expression quoted above) Now, when we talk about developing a "millionaire mindset" what we mean is that you should harness the emotions, feelings and habits of millionaires. The reality of it is that, regardless of what we might consciously say or think about money and wealth, we all have preconceived believes about money and wealth which, more often than not, make it unacceptable to think of becoming wealthy. Unless you grew up in an affluent environment, chances are you have doubts and even unconscious fears about becoming rich. So, unless you tackle those hidden barriers, you will not be able to achieve true success. The key here is COURAGE! Have the courage to let go of your inhibiting thoughts about money, stop worrying about what others may think. Wake up every morning feeling like a millionaire. Stop thinking about how you want to be debt-free, and start thinking about being free! Work on yourself more than you do your business, and everything will fall into balance!
Establish a Daily Routine
The main difference between having a job and owning your own business is accountability, or lack-thereof. In a regular job, you have to be accountable to your boss. She gives you tasks to complete and deadlines to meet. If you don't complete everything within the deadline assigned, she'll make certain to remind you. However, when you are an entrepreneur, the only person you have to be accountable to is yourself. So, to keep you on track, it is highly beneficial to have a daily routine in place.
