Focus, focus, focus. There are so many opportunities that it seems impossible to choose. Once you have done your due diligence and you have chosen and opportunity, one that you can get passionate about, that pays well, has a proven record of at least three years and a phenomenal product, it is time to focus. It is very easy to get side tracked with all the traffic, big, bold statements for making money with no investment, push button easy, we build your team for you! Yeh right! If it was that easy everyone would be doing it. Turn a blind eye to the all the statements that sound to good to be true because they are. You have to be confident in your decision and move forward. Also beware of all the gurus. There is a lot of training doing on to teach people to be experts in their fields, kind of fake it until you make it. We all have to start somewhere and honesty is always the best policy.
Don't always judge an opportunity by the person presenting it to you. They could be a big hitter or some one that is struggling, either way if the opportunity meets all the criteria then your out come depends on your input. It is important to surround your self with people that have common goals and positive energy. From time to time step back and evaluate yourself and your actions as if you were evaluating someone else. Are you being productive or do you have that wondering eye for the next flashy thing? There are many groups out there that are geared towards mentoring and coaching regardless of the business that you are in, but in the end it is ultimately up to you to stay focused and build the business that you know that you van and that you deserve.
