State tries to build a HTPC for some time and I think I still have, if you really want. But the little box solves all that I needed a very reasonable price. It is a prerequisite for the integration of Netflix, has conducted iTunes (of course) and recorded streaming radio, and what not. This is all very well. What I like is the ease with which it is connected to a home network. Not that this is an amazing feat, but I have the easiest assembly and integration is very clean.
