Who hasn't tried to lose weight? Everyone has tried to lose weight at one time or another. Some have more success than others. It's a constant battle and we often tend to give up too soon. Here are some simple weight loss tips that anyone can do.

Losing weight can be simple just by making conscience choices during your daily activities. For one, portion control can be managed without any book. When you go to have a meal it should be a small meal and not something huge. Like a bagel, the size of the bagels that are available today in most places are too large, eat half a bagel. Portion control is a simple way without dieting. Eat what you want, just take smaller portions.

Don't skip meals. Skipping meals only means that you will eat a really big meal because you're starving. Eat when you're hungry, even if it isn't meal time. You're more likely to eat less when meal time comes around. This allows you to manage portion control while not skipping meals. This kind of works hand-in-hand.

Drink water during your day. I'm not saying you need eight glasses of water during the day, but you do need water to flush out your system and it does keep you full. So all in all, water not a bad thing.

Eat fiber rich foods. Not only are they good for you but they also keep you full. A lot of healthy food is fiber rich, and it will work in your best interest to eat fiber rich foods so you won't have to worry about irregularity. Fiber rich food can be as simple as whole wheat bread in exchange for white bread. Not a very difficult thing to do.

Increase fruits and vegetables. Increasing your fruit and vegetable intake is healthy for you. Broccoli, tomatoes, and celery are all something we could use more of in our daily food intake.

Eliminate sugary drinks and sugary snacks. Or at least cut down on them. Why? Because this is a spiral affect when we eat or drink sugary things. We get a sugar high and then sugar low, which makes us want more sugary snacks or drinks. It's an addictive thing. Sugar tastes good, but in the long run we really need to cut down on it.

These are all basic weight loss tips. Just good old common sense and you're on your way to weight loss.
