Water fed pole window cleaning is becoming more and more popular with window cleaners, but many are still sticking to the old traditional method, using a set of ladders, and a bucket and squeegee.

Water fed poles were introduced on the scene primarily due to the health and safety working at heights issue. They have been on the scene for several years now and improvements have been made to the original designs, in fact several inventors, designers, and manufacturers are now in on the game and it has become big business with lots of companies now vying to get their hands on your money in exchange for what can amount to some very pricey equipment.

Many window cleaners keen to keep their fee on the ground are even opting for payment plans to buy these systems. So has it been worthwhile investing in these systems?

Well it wasn't as straight forward as buying a van, going to a window cleaning supplier, and having your van kitted out with a water tank, a big hose reel, getting your poles and brushes connected, and all the other things that go with it, then arriving at your window cleaning round, you've had for years where you slogged round with your ladders, and had many a scary moment as you stretched to your limits to get that other window without having to climb back down and up again.

Excitedly pulling out your pole as you anticipate earning twice as much money for half the hours you normally work, as if It was much more complicated than that, there were more things to think about now.
