I purchased this GPS device for use while hiking. It does it's job well. I set Way-Points throughout my hikes and simply follow the compass headings back to the points. Distances are very accurate. This device does not have color or maps; however, it works very well as a "Follow your bread crumb" device. Would recommend to a friend.
