Travelling can be an expensive indulgence, so why not try visiting some inexpensive places to save your wallet from a bashing?

1) Harare, Zimbabwe the reason it ranks as the cheapest city is due to the amount of unemployment and corruption in the area. If you want to travel here, make sure that you visit the Kopje, the granite hill that rises high above south west Harare, a great viewpoint to see the sights of the city.

2) Tianjin, China the sixth most populated city in Chine, Tianjin is inexpensive and relatively close to Beijing. It's quite a small city, but well worth a visit. Its a great base to stay to travel to the other larger cities in the area, too.

3) Sana'a, Yemen learn Arabic here, and see some wonders of the world, as it is a UNESCO world heritage site due to its natural beauty and outstanding architecture.

4) Buenos Aires, Brazil a popular tourist destination, Buenos Aires is a place that people rave about once they have been. It's relatively cheap for living and has lots of sights to see and places to visit.

5) Thimpu, Bhutan to travel here as a tourist is expensive as the government rule that you have to spend $200 per day, but as an expat living here, you would not be privy to these rules.
