subject: Stop Affair Relationships - Affair Relationships: Can They Really Last? [print this page]

Affair relationships, can they really last? If the relationship is based from infidelity where both of you came from a relationship which you chose not to be loyal, it is not easy to decide leaving the first relationship behind and just go on with the current one; what about your kids? your spouse? consider them first.

True enough, it is really hard to sustain a relationship that begins by both of you cheating and lying. The very first thing here is that trust is so hard to gain between the two of you. Meaning, it's so hard to trust a person you know who is a cheater in the first place. Now, you're happy both of you have overcome mistrust in the relationship, but you need to think something else and consider some issues that are affected in your affair relationships.

Think about your kids, are they greatly affected? This is the most challenging situation to face. Okay, i believe you do not want to make it hard for your children;as much as possible, you do not want to hurt them but it is nearly impossible to make your children love you when they know that you left their parent hurting and in pain because of the other person, and there is a tendency that they will blame your other partner. Even if there aren't kids involved, you have to remember that this affair relationship is just like any other: it starts off hot and passionate, but can you keep that alive?

Actually, the couples who cheat to their corresponding partners and into the relationship may feel free and this is because responsibilities are not yet done at the moment. The day to day grind is almost always what slowly works it's way between couples and causes the problems. You have to think realistically that a feeling of getting "used to" the "usual" will both haunt you over and over again. You may even realize that your second partner is not as brand new and fres as before... just like what you realized in your original partner.

Are you still in love with your spouse at this moment? you need to answer this one significant question after all the facts being said and done that calls for some sort of your consideration. If you can honestly say that you just don't feel love for your spouse (and I'm not talking about the fireworks, tingling toes feeling that always fades and changes in any relationship) than despite the pain it will cause you might be doing them a favor in the long run by leaving. If it comes to that, it's best for everyone involved if you don't let them know that the catalyst for the breakup is your affair. That is one ultimate secret to be kept within yourself. Just have a small talk to your spouse and tell him/her that the relationship has ended and while you do it, you should be kind and gentle as possible.

It is believed that most of the affair relationships never seemed to last, yet when two parties involved are sure of their feelings to each other despite they met on the wrong road, they can go on with it just make the past relationship is done and it's finally over. Just keep it within yourselves the fact that you were together while both of you are married to other persons and there's no need to cause pain to some significant others.
