People always ask me, " I want to make money online. Can You tell me what the Most Profitable Niche Markets are?" or " Can You assist me in Finding A Niche Market or suggest the best Niche Marketing Strategy?" I always tell them that these answers lie within them. What I mean by that, is that there is no secret to finding a niche market or Marketing strategy.
If you want to be a successful Affiliate Marketer, you need to pick a niche that you are passionate about. Maybe you love golf. You can set up an Affiliate Marketing blog/website based on Golf and your love for it. Within this blog, you can write about which golf balls have the best flight action and that you personally recommend. Meanwhile, get involved in a golf affiliate program that sells golf equipment and link to their sales page for the golf ball that you are recommending. Get the idea? It's simple!
Now, when finding a profitable niche market, make sure you're not getting involved in something just for the money. This has to be something that you love and are willing to write about on a somewhat regular basis. Otherwise, you'll fizzle out on your interest level of your new site and so will any traffic that might have been going there. Then you're dead in the water!
So basically, look inside yourself. What do you love to do? What are your hobbies? What are your passions? Once you figure this out, you can fine tune what it is that you're going to blog/write about on your new affiliate marketing web site. Having done this, you'll be able to appeal to a highly targeted market - one that will probably be interested in what you have to say and will keep coming back to your site. Later on down the road, when you see that you have a following of sorts, you can incorporate affiliate links to try and monetize the traffic you are getting.
Keep in mind, when starting out, don't try to monetize just yet. Simply write about your niche for a couple of weeks to get some traffic to your site. Once you see that people are interested in what you have to say and keep coming back, then you can start adding links and such.
