In a few months from now, the latest Final Fantasy series, FFXIV is due for official launch. As fans of Square Enix's Final Fantasy sequel get all excited and geared up for the day when the gates to Hydaelyn opens for the first time, more and more FFXIV sources appears on the Internet worldwide. With the game being planned for release in English, French, German and Japanese, fan sites, forums, guides and community sites are being established exponentially in a variety of languages.

The four disciplines gamers look forward to playing in the new Final Fantasy XIV are: Disciples of War, Disciples of Magic, Disciples of the Hand and Disciples of the Land. Each discipline has its own set of classes. For War, the choices are Archer, Lancer, Gladiator, Marauder and Pugilist. For Magic, players can choose between Conjurer and Thaumaturge. As for the Disciples of Hand, the choices are Alchemist, Blacksmith, Culinarian, Tanner and Weaver. Finally, for Land, the classes are Botanist, Fisherman and Miner.

In addition to the growing number of FFXIV resources, one notable site is the FFXIV Guide website ( http://www.ffxivguide.net ) which has just been launched with the aim to become one of the top sources for FFXIV guides. Already the site host preliminary information about the game for gamers to read up on and prepare themselves for the official game release planned.

Besides Final Fantasy XIV game sites, game wikis also host a plentiful and growing collection of content about the game which poses as a good source for early and introductory information to the game.
