You are probably wondering what the heck your Internet Business, goal setting and urinals in McDonalds have to do with each other? I was inside a McDonalds the other morning getting my fill of some artery clogging breakfast food of a tasty bacon , egg cheese biscuit and all of a sudden felt the need to use the restroom?. Number 1 NOT number 2?lol
This particular McDonalds had one of these really cool environmentally friendly waterless urinals that's intended to save a large number of gallons of otherwise wasted water every year. One other feature I noticed about this urinal is that it had a "to scale" detailed etched fly right in the center of the urinal about 5 inches or so above the urnial drain?I swear I had to complete a double get because it really seemed like a real fly?.I observed myself naturally targeting the etched fly as I utilized the urinal?I got to thinking was this the purpose of the etched fly within the first place??To provide me a target?
I did a little research in to the etched fly in urinals function and I discovered out that there's a very specific reason why the etched fly was there. Apparently the company that came up using the etched fly concept did research and found that public restrooms that had these urinals using the etched flies actually stayed cleaner and smelling fresher for lengthier periods of time?.The reason why? Simply because there was much less urine splash outside of the urinals. Believe about that for a second.
Just like I noticed my natural tendency to target the fly as I used the urinal apparently so do other men when they use the same kind of urinals. The company that came up using the fly etched urinals figured out if they gave males a "target" (the etched fly) that they would be less likely to be careless and let the unintended "spash factor" happen which tends to create things less clean and smell bad in a brief period of time?.
I had an epiphany?. Once we set a target or set a goal the actions we get in execution to achieving that goal are a great deal more focused, purpose driven, efficient and in the end "cleaner" having a better end result. Wow?I'm a genius
Getting a specific goal in relation to your Internet Business is key in how successful you will be?.Just intention for a target or goal that you simply set and issues automatically have a much more successful final result?Seems like common sense but occasionally we neglect the easy fundamentals?
Your "target" (ie goal) for your Internet Business can be something like what I had when I was first starting out? My Goal was if I could persistently make just 4 sales a day at least 6 days a week that I would be well on my way to a minimum of having a 100k year just on the entrance finish with my simple $67 Niche market DVD coaching item.
Needless to say I'd eventually had to reverse engineer the process on how to get to that 4 sales a day at least 6 days a week?But just focusing on that objective, that "target" of no less than a constant four product sales a day open the flood gates of creativity and gave me something to focus on?I'm proud to say that I surpassed that objective currently?and I owe it to getting a transparent "Target".
