HOT ON THE heels of it's latest major victory by staff player Graeme McDowell, Callaway Golf announces the launch of its latest X-24 Hot irons, which it claims are the longest, most accurate' irons in its popular X-Series , producing faster ball speeds and maximum distance.'
The X-Hot 24 irons have been developed by Callaway engineers for golfers preferring to hit an iron to a long par-3 or fly a hazard to reach a par-5 in two shots. It says the clubs' VFT Face Technology, 360-degree undercut channel and a precise centre of gravity help create a large hitting area to generate maximum distance while maintaining both forgiuveness and accuracy.
In addition a new darker stealth PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish reduces glare and helps the player focus on the shot in hand(golf wholesale).

So we employed our core technologies and faster ball speeds into the design of X-24 Hot irons, to create a longer, more accurate set than any of their predecessors in the X-Series."
The Callaway X-24 Hot irons will be available from August 1 throughout Europe with a price tag of 749 for a graphite-shafted set of eight right-handed only irons (4-iron to sand wedge). Steel shafts will cost 649 per set. A 50-degree auxiliary wedge is also available as an option.
