Ever wondered why sometimes you walk into a bar ornightclub, and just know you are going to be in for a great night, and other times you just get that feeling that this place is not for you As someone who has a 6th sense for what the night will hold, I have always wondered exactly what makes a nightclub great
So after much deliberation, I have come up with the different aspects of a bar or nightclub that determines whether your night will be awesome that you will be talking about for the next 3 months, or a night to forget.
The Venue
The venue sets the foundation for a great night out. If you're all dressed up in your sexiest threads, then you want to go to a bar or nightclub that reflects this. Likewise, if you're in your comfy jeans and flats, then something more casual is obviously on the cards.
The Staff
Nothing makes for a shit night more than asshole bouncers and slow bar staff. Being at a bar or nightclub with bouncers looking for any reason to kick you out is one of my pet hates. 2nd on my list of pet hates is bar staff that think they are too cool to work behind the bar. Yes one day you will finish your arts degree and be qualified to well get the dole but until then pour my drink you muppet.
The Drinks
A good bar or nightclub has got to have a wide selection of drinks.
The People
When I go clubbing, I want to be in a room with a bunch of unpretentious bar and nightclub enthusiasts looking to meet new people and have a good time. To me, this is the 2nd most important part of heading to your favourite bar or nightclub.
The Company
Without question, the most important part of a great night out at a bar or nightclub is who you go with.Clubbing is all about making something happen that is worth talking about the next morning, and in my experience this is only possible if you are with a crew of good friends. If you are lucky enough to have this, then it doesn't matter which bar or nightclub you go to you are going to have a great night out
