Social Media Software

Purpose:

The purpose of Unilyzer Social Media Software is to provide perspective and insight about social media campaigns.

Background:

Unilyzer was developed in 2009 by Eman Bass, llc, a boutique business intelligence company located in the Dallas, Texas area. With extensive experience at integrating large volumes of data from disparate sources and transforming it into keen insight for business management teams, and with a growing need to solve the problem of monitoring and managing social media marketing efforts, the company established a framework for measuring, monitoring, and managing social media performance, and developed Unilyzer Social Media Software to support that purpose.

Concept:

The Unilyzer uses a performance dashboard concept. A performance dashboard is a concise, but comprehensive display of key information. This information is represented graphically for quick consumption and easy comprehension. The user is given high-level information about key performance indicators (KPI's). KPI's are the most important factors of success.

In context, KPI's for social media marketers who seek to drive traffic to their landing pages can include: time-on-site, visits, visitors, unique page views, bounce rate and the like. Measuring and monitoring these KPI's gives the marketer clues about how their operating tactics are performing against goals. Unilyzer functionality enables easy monitoring and management of social campaigns.

Functionality:

Unilyzer uses a top-down approach, presenting high-level information first, followed by supporting detail. At a glance, users get a complete picture of how their social campaign is performing.

Unilyzer provides an array of reports, charts, and graphs in order to provide the next level of detail and to provide further insight and perspective to the user. In a short time, users get a comprehensive picture of how a social media campaign is performing and they are able to gain insight and perspective on how their efforts are translating into business results.

Alerts are shown in the form of RED and GREEN arrows on the dashboard display (see figure 1). The RED arrows show a loss in momentum and the GREEN arrows show an increase in momentum as compared to the previous timeframe. KPI's are measured in logical timeframes and compared on a by-channel, by-KPI basis. This enables managers to quickly see where social media performance is changing and react to those changes as required to keep performance on track to meet goals.

Unilyzer also provides unique, patent-pending capabilities that enable users to create dashboards, reports, and charts and distribute those social reports to their client, boss, or other interested parties.
