subject: Have You Ever Thought About Eating Yourself Thin? Is This For You?
[print this page] Many dieters claim they are hungry all the time. Woefully they cry "How can I stop eating?" "How can I lose weight when all I want to do is eat?" How can I lose all this blubber when all I have on my mind is eating?
Our motto has become eat today, diet tomorrow! We have given little thought to eat today, stuff ourselves today and kill ourselves with food! Eat today, die tomorrow! That is what is going to happen to us because we are killing ourselves with food!
We never think about eating ourselves thin! No thought is given to fat loss or eating ourselves thin! Eating myself thin should be our new motto. Starting today, you should plan to eat yourself thin! How do you do that? What do you have to do to eat yourself thin?
It seems everywhere we look there is food. Every magazine, every other commercial on television, every meeting you attend, and the list goes on and on. How can you lose weight when you are surrounded by food? No wonder it is always on your mind! We have let ourselves be programmed by commercials.
We have fallen victim to doing what we want to do when we want to do it. That includes eating as well as buying things! Food in many cases is our reward for things we do. It is also what we reward ourselves with when we do not feel good. We eat to handle our emotions. It does not matter how we feel, we use food to make us feel better.
If we are sick, or mad, or unhappy, or if our lover left us, or if our kids have made a bad choice, or if our spouse won't quit watching the game and pay attention to us or if we don't have any money to go shopping, then we make ourselves feel better by eating. A big bowl of chips and dip is the answer to anything that ails us!
Change your motto right now, today! "Eat to Be thin" is our new motto! What can you do to make this happen? How do you change your life starting today? You need a T-shirt with the motto "Eat To Be Thin! Fat Loss Is The Way of Life For Me!" What do you think about that?
From now on we will search for foods that help us win our war against fat! We want foods with negative calories. You know the kind of food we want. We want food that takes more calories to burn than the amount of calories in the food, then our body will use up some of that stored fat. We will be eating ourselves thin!
Eat more fiber known as resistant starches. It is food that resists being digested. You feel full after eating it and are full for a longer period of time. Therefore you eat less. Plus resistant starches, resist being digested. They pass through the small intestine to the large intestine of healthy individuals, where it acts like dietary fiber. It requires the body to burn more calories than the food contains so your body has to burn some of its stored up fat. You will start losing weight as you lose the fat. You will be eating to be thin and fat loss will happen also.
Where do you find resistant starches? They are found in whole grains, seeds, legumes, under-ripe fruit, and in cooked starches that have been cooled such as pasta salads, potato salads, and sushi rice. They can also be found in navy beans, raw bananas, cold potatoes, lentils, pearl barley, oatmeal, and wholegrain bread. These are the same foods medical professionals have been trying to get us to eat to lose weight the whole time!
1. Fiber fortification is simple to do. Add fiber to foods such as bread, biscuits, pasta, and cereals. You can increase fiber content without affecting the taste or the texture. A study done by the World Health Organization in 2003 concluded that fiber was the only dietary component showing convincing proof of having a protective effect against weight gain and obesity! As we all know, fiber does fill you up and makes you feel full for longer periods of time. You do not eat as often which causes fat loss and weight loss!
2. Calorie reduction can easily be accomplished by substituting resistant starch for flour in recipes.
3. Lipid oxidation happens when you eat resistant starches. Resistant starch helps burn fat and leads to more fat loss. Past clinical trials have shown corm resistant starches increase fat oxidation after a meal. Great news for those on a fat loss diet!
Eat dietary resistant fiber. Use it as suggested in items 1 through 3 above, and you may find yourself full longer, hungry less often, and eating yourself thin! Both weight loss and fat loss will follow!
Be inventive! Follow your motto: "Eat To Be Thin! Fat Loss Is The Way of Life For Me!"
