Alternative Cars
We are all aware that the fuels of the world are quickly diminishing and we are causing more pollution ever minute. One of the biggest contributions to this is the driving of vehicles to even just around the corner.
All hybrids and fuel cell cars strive to have the best emissions there is already too much pollution to begin with so why make more. The world is in need of an alternative car to stop the pollution and the large amounts of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. To help the car be more fuel efficient while driving, designers are making adjustments to hybrid cars to lower the drag. If it were to be driven purely downhill it would get 99%. Since 2000 when the most popular hybrid car was released there have been some improvements made to hybrid cars. One of the main features that the hybrid has that makes it stick out is the automatic climate control system, which is not available on any other hybrid.
Hybrid cars are a new generation of cars that strive for the highest economic standards. The point of hybrid cars is not to take away all the luxuries of petrol cars like horsepower and torque but to make for a more environmentally friendly car. In these early stages of development there is a noticeably lesser amount of power than a petrol car. Future projects are showing that hybrid cars in the future will have just as much power as a petrol car today. For now hybrid cars have the same price and features as a petrol car but it will cost you much less in the long run because of their high fuel mileage. Hybrid cars will make a difference because of its almost zero emissions and the money it saves on fuel. Just think of being able to drive twice as far on a tank of fuel and saving money while doing it. A hybrid car is a car with both a gas powered engine and an electric motor. The electric motor is powered by batteries, which are recharged while driving the same way as with a normal car battery. The petrol engine is the same as one that would be found in a normal car. These two power sources can be used simultaneously or by themselves depending on what the car is doing.
Ultimately, we all need to be looking at reducing the emission of our vehicles by simple measure such as walking to the local shop for your pint of milk, walking or cycling to your gym in Cardiff to have your weekly gym session, to walking the children to school.
