The French words fraternite - brotherhood, liberte - freedom, egalite - equality (FLE) already explain how plain people - beggars and peasants - generally understood FREEDOM during French Revolution in 1789 - millions of them without university education, the Internet, and knowledge in C and HTML programming. Sparatacus (not Spartacus, this was a different slave hero), too, understood what was slavery in the Atlantis.
Communism and fascism differed only in the manner of control, not in the result, which was unfortunately the same. As every control implies a hidden form to subjugate others, I speak about an oppressive control (to subjugate) - that is, the one I visibly see, feel, not the one I experienced at school with my long-eared (vampire) teachers. The effect of communism or fascism actually produced the same Friday - a day of Sexual Frequency when ego players fiddle music with their nipples.
An oppressive control is also a situation when you have to work on a source code (GPL slavery) six months - eight hours a day. When you finish, you realize that you cannot buy food, as only "free software" matters, not "free food". 666 beggars' plead is ignored. 64 yogini's appeal too.
Misconception: Oh, you talk nonsense; control is everywhere.
Answer: No, there is a mother control and a devil control. I just stumbled upon a website propagating 6sigma company strategy. Just to remind you - 6 and sigma are marks of the beast (666).
As many people still yet remember communism and fascism (some of them even personally met Hitler, the Eagle), they will all tell you that the manner of control did not differ very much either in the Stalinists' (socialism) or fascists' (national socialism) practice. However, I do no criticize the shared ownership - Dubek's efforts in 1968 made Czechoslovakia the freest country in the world with respect to the media; this was because there was no competition and nobody worried about that a magazine or a newspaper could go bankrupt - the government financed everything. GPL does not.
You see that it is ethics of sharing that matters here. Every captain of a ship has his own rules - some are good, some are not. And if someone speaks of "freedom" and of "free society", every single person must have the same right as all persons in the community that calls itself "free".
Misconception 1: The same right? People can never have it!
Answer 1: You are right, but then speak of the right without the word "freedom".
Answer 2: Or keep it (freedom), but with all of us sharing and eating it like strawberries in the woods.
Mr. Stall's (no, Mr. Stalin is not Mr. Stallman, I am just playing with words like George Orwell) concept of freedom is to see it only in his own captain's beard. Freedom in beards of 666 beggars looks like these two long-eared eggs:
1) It is not ethical to pay for food.
2) It is not ethical to pay for software.
Cults exist on a larger scale - not only in religions. Cult culture is part of our society and many analogies can be found in relation to a hypothetical religious cult - 1) cult of manliness in Catholic Church; 2) cult of ideal female beauty in fashion companies (which unfortunately results in anorexia); 3) cult of money; and finally, 4) cult of freedom, though every captain has his own compass (anorexia vs slavery), no matter he swims to the North or the South Pole.
Misconception: Every compass shows the North Pole.
Answer: It depends. With a bottle of bear (Mukhi says: give me bear) in mouth and both hands punching on the water (while swimming) below the Equator will bring you to Arnhem Land - the freest part of the world (Australia, where J. R. "Bob" Dobbs started his Subgenius Church). I spent some time there and learned that captains are unwelcome.
If you do not know what a cult is, I will tell you - it is a specific form of worship, or a specific manner of transporting yourself somewhere. It does not matter whether you worship freedom or God. The difference between cult and non-cult transportation is that in cults no other transportation is considered good except the one that a cult recommends.
Except for the Arnhem Land's aboriginal totems one of the most unique sculptures I found in the world was Ekapada Shiva - one-legged Lord Shiva (64 yoginis' shrines). Going into a cult means, for example, that we worship our gurus with one leg like Ekadapa Shiva's worshippers - that is, hiding all other parts of our body (aborigines do not practice this). Freedom is to be without obligations and under no control, as dictionaries say. Bowing to a guru with one leg only makes me feel the guru wants me to prefer his specific form of visualization. 64 yoginis, too, have their specific vampire statues, but nobody denies it was not a cult.
It is hypocritical to expose something as "non free software" (thank you Mukhi and Kamadia) - give it a label many people acknowledge, on the one hand, and on the other hand, pay for expensive flight tickets when there are cheap boats, bicycles, or one-leg transportation possibilities - that is, Ekadapa GPL (FLE).
Authoritarianism is good in a profession (astronomer, etc.) and in things this profession deals with (an astronomer and his theory about the stars). No authoritarianism can be tolerated with respect to gifts Mother Earth gave us. It was the French peasant, the plain uneducated man - the poor 666 French beggars whose battle cry won. Ask yourself why it is difficult for the elite oligarchy to acknowledge that the word "freedom" is sincere only if it comes from the lips of people who want free education, free food, free books, etc., not the gurus who have never seen the image of Ekadapa Shiva. Communists arrested many people only because they had said that communism was not free. Mukhi and Kamadia, the two yoginis, say that it does not really matter that food or education is "not free" if we all have money for it to buy it - the result should matter, not the one-legged path to it.
Is it not "freedom" if 666 beggars write a script and relicense the GPL to FLE?
Our nonsensical European Union with thousands of clerks and politicians costs so much money that it could have fed all the poorest children and families in our world. Had the GPL License contained such a message, I would have believed it is good! Stop the cult of government! Donate to OpenBSD!
