Faith is the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen. It is the certainty that what we hope for is there for us to claim, even though we cannot see it. Faith is "now", and not later, as stated in Hebrews 11:1
We claim what we want by faith, now, and not delay it till another time. Without faith, we would cease to function effectively. Faith is necessary for salvation and for our daily spiritual existence. By faith, as Christians, we also have the hope that some day, we will spend eternity with our Lord, Jesus Christ, in heaven.
We need to base our faith in Christ, and ask God to help our faith grow. When we appropriate our faith, we set apart certain scriptures for certain situations we may be going through. First of all, we need to locate the promise of God's Word that meets or relates to our particular situation. For example, God promised us in Isaiah 53:5, "But He (Jesus) was pierced for our transgressions' He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him, and by His wounds we are healed."
In accordance with the promise of God, you need to claim your healing by confessing the above scripture. As God said He has already healed you, then the healing is yours to claim, by faith. In the area of finances, God's Word says in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus." Claim your finances now, by faith, and Give Him glory.
God is not one to say "yes", when He means "no". He always does exactly what He says and fulfils all His promises, no matter how many of them there are. Once you have located the promise of God's Word for your need, the next step is for you to fulfil all the conditions attached to that need. His Word tells us in Deuteronomy 28:1-3, "If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all His commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all nations on earth. All these blessings will come upon you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God. You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country."
So, the condition is your obedience to God. Once you have fulfilled the condition, keep on confessing the promises of God. Your miracle is tied to your obedience. Child of God, strive to obey God in all you do and appropriate your faith in specific situations. God is faithful and He will not turn you away. And if you love Jesus, you will walk by faith and not by sight. You may not know how things are going to turn out, but God knows and He will not disappoint you. AMEN
