God's Word is true and you need to believe it as it says in 2 Peter 1:19, "And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts." Once you do not doubt His Word, be assured that you will receive what you ask for.
The next step is to be a hearer and doer of the Word of God. It is important that you don't just listen to His Word but you need to do what it says. The bible tells us in James 1:22-24, "Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror and after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like."
But if you keep looking steadily into God's Word, you will not only remember it, but will do what it says and God will greatly bless you in everything you do. He will surprise in every step of the way and make His Face to shine upon you. God's Hand will lead you and His love will support you always.
Faith must be connected to hope and your hope must be based on what God's Word says. Believe that God calls those things, which do not exist as though they did. And His willingness to bless you rests on your willingness to believe Him all the time. Let your life encourage faith in the Saviour and cause others to believe in Him.
If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, "you can say to this mountain, "move from here to there", and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20b. Your words release the life-giving force that is in your faith. So make sure that what comes out of your mouth lines up with the Word of God. Some "mountains" or problems may need a little extra prayer and the power that comes through fasting.
If you are willing to meet God's conditions, you will see mountains moved in your life. Though we cannot see God with our eyes, we can believe with our heart that He is Lord forevermore. If your faith is so real and alive, you will not be able to stay quiet about it. You will let people know what He has done for you, to His own glory.
Child of God, I encourage you to put your faith into practice. Let people see the difference Jesus makes in your life. As you do this, your life will be used to bless others. Your life can be your best defence of your faith in Jesus Christ, to anyone who asks why you believe. Enjoy your faith walk with God and be blessed.
PRAYER OF SALVATION
If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen."
Congratulations, if you have prayed this prayer. Please look for a Bible-believing church, to fellowship with the brethren. Please do not hesitate to contact me, if I can be of any assistance to you. Remain blessed and enjoy the presence of the Lord.
