Pop-Up Trade Show Displays Offer Graphic Power and Money-Saving Advantages

Copyright (c) 2010 Gerry StringerTrade shows are one of the best marketing tools available to any company, as they offer a forum to get your best staff members and products right in front of a multitude of buyers in a short span of time. However, trade shows can also be quite expensive, and since they come in so many forms - full shows, table-top shows, exhibit displays at fairs, etc. - many companies opt for the versatility of pop-up trade show displays to offer the most bang for the buck.Exhibitors have an excellent range of graphic opportunity and money-saving advantages because of the variety of sizes and formats available for modern pop-up displays. They can be full exhibit floor displays for an 8-ft., 10-ft. or 20-ft. booth space, or smaller 3-ft., 6-ft. or 8-ft. smaller corporate shows and quick sales presentations may prefer table-top presentations. The savings are two-fold: First, pop-up displays are designed for easy set-up and tear-down, where even one person can handle the chore, so exhibitors can keep their trade show staff commitment to a minimum; Second, pop-up displays are made with very light-weight materials and involve fewer carrying cases than traditional trade show booths, so they are easily transportable and can save considerable sums of money in drayage and shipping costs. Some trade show events must accommodate a vast number of associates on site and stocking shelves and stands for promotional materials or products. On the other hand, many firms simply want a bright graphic presentation to draw potential customers in to meet the sales and marketing team, and the pop-up display is the perfect solution.Pop-up trade show displays typically use an accordion-style folding frame made of either aluminum or fiberglass. These frames easily fold up and are carried or shipped in a handy case. The frames are covered with either fabric or photo-mural graphic panels, which attach to the frame using Velcro or error-proof magnets. The panels easily roll up and are also stored in the carrying case. One person can entirely set-up and tear down with ease. And additional advantage is that extra graphic panels displaying a different product or service can be easily carried in the same case and quickly swapped out for presentations to different audiences. For the standing floor pup-up displays, the full frame and panel accessory, usually about 8-ft. tall, arc or stretch along the back of the display space, leaving enough room for tables, chairs, staff, television monitors, literature racks, or any desired supplies. The table-top pop-ups are about half as tall and are designed to sit on top of a table which the exhibitor can cover with a decorative or logoed drape.Pop-up displays are the workhorses of the trade show industry, as they are light-weight and portable for a demanding display schedule, while at the same time replacing the traditional booth with nearly identical graphic power. Table-top pop-ups that are smaller and can be used per sales person are used when a fully professional display can be running for as many as five presentations in one. The larger floor pop-ups are just right for the one-day or two-day show and are so portable they can be ready to go at another exhibition the very next day.
