The results related for the new Seven Wonders of the World were confirmed in the capital city of Portugal. Indians were celebrating the victory in a variety of ways. Fresh record of Seven Wonders of the World includes Taj Mahal from India, Great Wall of China fromChina, Petra from Jordan, Christ the Redeemer in Brazil, Chichen Itza Pyramid that is present in Mexico and Colosseum from Italy and Machu Picchu from Peru. On the other hand, the Great Pyramid of Egypt was an amateur candidate and does not feature in the voting list.

The seven wonder list date comes from the very old period when the historian Herodotus in 425 BC and the renowned scholar Callimachus 305 BC made lists of Seven Wonders of the World. Their listing comprised of the Great Pyramid of Giza, Hanging Gardens of Babylon, Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, Statue of Zeus at Olympia, Mausoleum of Masussollos at Halicarnassus, Colossus of Rhodes and Lighthouse of Alexandra. Amid these wonders simply Great Pyramid of Giza is positioned even today, while the rest of the six were destroyed by earthquake, fire or some different causes.

Then in the middle age numerous lists for Seven Wonders of the World had come up, but those records were not formed by contemporary-medieval historians, so they are not genuine. In the present age wonders of the world had been put into different groups specifically contemporary Wonders, Natural Wonders, undersea marvels and sightseer Travel Wonders which were further divided into artificial travel wonders and natural travel-wonders. For the current Seven Wonders of the World, it was the first time the online selection and SMS method were used and approximately 10 crore people around the world gave their votes.

UNESCO which looks after all the legacy sites of the whole world affirmed that it has no connection with the scheme and the outcome would be the judgment of those who have entrance to the Internet and not the whole world. Today nearly 6. 6 billion people live across the world out of which only 10 crore gave the vote for new Seven Wonders of the World.

So, if we take UNESCOs declaration and people make their choice under consideration then the record of new Seven Wonders of the World was just a business reason not a genuine selection. But who is bothered our Taj is an apparent winner, let us all celebrate and greet the everlasting love of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal.
