subject: The Top Ten New Year's Resolutions For Multilevel Marketers [print this page]

You make resolutions for every part of your life, why not your business? Unlike your personal resolutions (like you are going to start working out), that often fall by the wayside, you might actually stand a chance of following through with some of these resolutions.

No matter how well you are doing, there is always room for improvement. If you could follow through with all your resolutions (business and personal), just think of where you would be this time next year!

If you don't like these resolutions, you can always come up with some of your own.

10. I will faithfully do my affirmations (and only affirm what is true!). If you don't know what an affirmation is, your resolution is to find out about affirmations!

9. I will review my goals on a regular basis.

8. I will make new goals for this year.

7. I will get control of my schedule! (This can apply to life in general!)

6. I will follow-up with my downline and customers on a regular basis (including instituting some system to make sure this happens if you don't have one already).

5. I will attend as many of the company trainings as I can (and will review them online if I miss any!).

4. I will commit to reading, attending seminars, and other activities and contribute to my personal growth.

3. I will get organized and track my business activities on a regular basis and record those activities. (Tax time for 2010 is cominghow long is it going to take you to come up with the numbers from that shoe box of receipts?) If you don't have time, hire someone to do this for you.

2. I will use my upline effectively and commit myself to growing my business. If your upline has been trying to help you, but you haven't been paying attention, now is the time to change.

1. I will call my prospects! Probably the most important thing you can do to grow your business. If you don't have any prospects, talk to you upline about how to get some. There are millions of people out there!

If possible, write down your resolutions and post them somewhere. There is something about writing that makes things stick in our head better than if we just think about something.

How few there are who have courage enough to own their faults, or resolution enough to mend them. Benjamin Franklin
