The Most Convenient Way of Flying
The Most Convenient Way of Flying

You like to go on vacation. It's great leaving home and work for a few days and it's great getting to your destination. The main problem is that it's going to take you a few hours of sitting inside a small cigar-shaped object with poor ventilation, often without use of an armrest. You can sit on the aisle and have access to the restroom or at the window where you can stare mindlessly at clouds for several hours.

It really isn't the most convenient way of getting to your dream destination. You might start sitting out on the tarmac for longer than you expect and, if that isn't enough fun, you might be seated next to someone who wants to gab while you want to sleep. There are plenty of bad combinations flying commercial and they are easy to avoid.

Obviously, there are benefits to flying. You don't have to worry about gas and stopping for fast food off the interstate. You can get there as quickly as possible and can even get home from a different time zone away in the same day if it's a business trip. Traveling overseas can take as long as a week by boat, but it can be done in a half-day thorough the air. It depends on how comfortable you want to be.

These are all conveniences that most people would not want to do without and if you are a business traveler, you definitely don't want to have to go back to the old ways of traveling by boat and train. Even with the delays and the lost luggage, most people would not trade airplanes for other modes of travel. With all its problems, there really is no better way to travel long distances than by airplane.

Traveling cross country or across the ocean to Europe or Asia was much more dangerous and time consuming and air travel has made every corner of the Earth more accessible. That being said, there are some ways that are better than others when considering air travel. Traveling first class is a much better way to fly than in coach. Obviously you pay a premium price, but for the comfort allowed, it is well worth it. Even more exclusive and beneficial to the business traveler is a chartered private jet. These planes have all the conveniences of the office, only in the air. If you book flight on a charter jet then it will be more expensive than the other cheap airline tickets.
