Here are two great exercise that will make you Jump Higher

The easiest way to increase your jumping ability for any sport whether its track and field foot ball basketball beach volley without have to purchase any special equipment is hard to come by on the internet without having to purchase a jump program. The two exercises to perform is Kneeups and Bounding Hops.

When performing Kneeups the object of the exercise is to jump as high as you can bring both of you knees into your chest. These are also known as tuck jumps. This exercise is very strenuous you are probably not going to be able to perform that many reps if you are a beginner because you are using your entire body. Again the object of this exercise is to jump as high as you can into the air while bringing your knees into your chest.

The next exercise is self explanatory. When performing this exercise you need a open stretch of land like at at a beach or park or football field. The object of this exercise is to jump as high as you can as far as you can. This exercise is very strenuous as well and will kick your butt. If you perform these two exercises together you should get some good results.

Be careful not to over do it these exercises will have your body very sore. Bounding Hops will have your stomach and lowback muscles very sore not to mention you legs. Kneeups will cause your hip flexors and stomach muscle to be sore as well. So if you are a beginner aim at 2 sets each exercise till failure. The more jumps you can perform during the drills without stopping the stonger your legs will become.Try to aim at about 2 workout sessions a week with about 3 days of rest in between sessions. Also after about 2 months I suggest to take a week off to avoid overtraining. You workout should not last longer than 15 minutes if so you are definitely overtraining!
