You must also find discounts in the deli area for prepared sandwiches and salads at this same time. Shop the middle of the shelves.
Top shelves are reserved for higher price items. Lower shelves are reserved for bigger items that are not necessarily cheaper. Middle shelf things have the finest price. Finally, continuously shop the end caps of the isles. The front end caps (nearest the registers) must sell all the distinct sale items. Most of these stuff are loss leaders and would be bought as BOGO or for below the average cost of the item.
