A report published by sedo, the domain name parking company, has named .org as the most valuable domain in the first quarter of 2010, with these domains having the highest average sales price when it comes to sales through the site. They have demanded roughly forty two percent more than the average .com name, and one hundred and eighty seven percent more than the average .net a mighty feat!
The most significant sale from 2010 has been poker.org which sold for 1 million dollars, making it the second highest org sale ever. This caused a snowball affect with other online companies investing in .org names, and .org now seems to be the favoured domain in the online communities.
