This colorful revolution is mainly due to the computers and their greatest technologies. Designing is one of the core technologies used nowadays,which determines the creativity of a person. So designing is a very important phase or level of the software cycle. General designing skills have expanded and reached greater heights such as E-designing, Web designing etc..
Web designing is the skill of creating presentations of content that is delivered to an end-user through the World Wide Web, by the way of a Web browser or other Web-enabled software. If the Web page is an attractive way, then the company earns profits. There are different technologies and web development tools to develop their particular site They are HTML, XHTML, XML, ASP.net, Javascript, CSS, PHP and AJAX, etc. Through these Web development tools, developers can create their own site.
We design webpages in two different forms,such as Static and Dynamic webpages.
* Static pages don't change content and layout with every request unless a webmaster or programmer manually updates the page. A simple HTML page is an example of static content.
*Dynamic pages adapt their content or appearance depending on end-user's interaction or changes in the computing environment. Both Client side and server side scripting languages are used to make a page dynamic and it depends upon the creator.
Designing Static pages:
HTML is the basic language used for Web development. HTML is a markup language with tags. HTML is the basis for developing a website. XHTML is a next version of HTML.XML is used to store and transport data. XML can be used to transfer data format is incompatible and Time consistent.. XML data can be stored in plain text and is independent of hardware, software and applications. Using these two tags it is easy to design a static page. But CSS specifies a priority scheme to determine which style rules apply if more than one rule matches against a particular element.
CSS is designed primarily to enable the separation of document content written in HTML or a similar markup language from document presentation, including elements. Xsl plays very important role in transforming XML documents. Both internal,external, Embedded,Inline style-sheets are used probably.
Dynamic Revolution:
JavaScript is primarily used in the form of client-side JavaScript, implemented as part of a web browser in order to provide enhanced user interfaces and dynamic websites. The advent of Ajax returned JavaScript to the spotlight and brought more professional programming attention. Its use in applications outside web pages is also significant.
ASP. NET is the next era of web development. It allows the use to program in languages such as C # or VB. NET to create Web applications in an easier way. Many programming languages can be used and it is very compatible.
AJAX is Asynchronous JavaScript and XML is the the latest buzz word in web development. We can create a dynamic webpage very quickly.
Multimedia Designing:
Multimedia is usually recorded and played, displayed or accessed by information content processing devices, such as computerized and electronic devices. Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash are some of the important tools used in designing with animation techniques(2D,3D).
However there are many tools and ways to design a webpage, HTML is very basic and important language used in designing.
