Also if reports are to be believed it will come in two versions with 1.2 litre engine giving a power of 70 hp and another giving 86 hp of power. In future it is also possible that 1.4-liter engine churning out 100 hp and 1.6-liter version churning out 115 hp may expand the project. Although the company has not given any information on the engine power, capacity or price range till now.The company is claiming that this new car will give a new start to small car segment and will help them to attain new heights. This hatchback will carry the new name of Chevrolet Sonic in United States, Mexico and Canada and its production will start this year at GMs Orion Assembly Center in Michigan. Company has invested a total of $545-million at plant. With the increase in competition in auto market due to launching of new cars this year, it will be interesting to see the results at the end of the day. All companies are projecting their cars in a unique way and now a coustomer has a lot of choice to choose from.
