Recently Land Rover has started to target a different customer base with the Discovery model, as well as the traditional farmers and frequent off roaders Land Rover wants to target users of executive saloons. They have introduced the new Land Rover Discovery 4 Landmark, which is based on a black and white colour theme.
The Black and White models combine high-end interiors with bold, contemporary colour schemes, giving the Land Rover Discovery 4 a more upmarket look and feel. Land Rover Edinburgh claims that the special edition black and white model offers on-road refinement to match most executive saloons, the versatility of a people carrier and unrivalled off-road capability.
What distinguishes the special edition apart from the normal model is that the Landmark Limited Edition is available in Santorini Black or Fuji White colour schemes, with high-specification Taurus interior leather which comes in either Ebony or Ivory.
The exterior is also given the special edition treatment, on the outside it comes with Santorini Black finish grille vanes, gloss black 20" 5-spoke diamond-turned alloy wheels, privacy glass, and Satin Black extended roof rails that create a unique side silhouette.
Land Rover design director Gerry McGovern is very proud of the special edition model, "The new Landmark Limited Edition Discovery 4 has been created to offer our customers more choice. The Discovery 4 is already the ultimate all-purpose vehicle, but we've brought a new, bolder, more contemporary edge to the design, offering a higher level of luxury in the cabin."
The special edition model comes with Land Rover's highly efficient 3.0 litre SDV6 twin turbo diesel engine that offers a 9% fuel economy improvement compared to the 2.7 litre engine it replaced and 10% less CO2 as well
