Bum exercises can be performed very easily if you know what you are doing. I have produced a list of toning bum exercises that you can easily do and you should start seeing the results straightaway.
1. Bum Clenches - Yes I have made up the name! This is so easy because you can do it at anytime. I have to say these are my favourite bum exercises. Sit where you are and tense your bum. Hold it for at least 12 seconds Each time you perform the exercise try and hold the tensing for a little longer each time.
2. Walking - Another easy one. I am sure that you walk sometimes during the day, I am not talking about long walks. Think about where you are walking, use the stairs or walk up hills as this will target the correct area. If you manage to walk at the same time as doing your clenches then you should see double the effect.
3. Squats - Squatting also is really good for exercising your tigh muscles. Stand up straight and then relax your body. Bend your knees until you reach the squat position. Try and do this every day and do 3 sets of 15.
4. Steps - Another easy one to perform in your own home. Just use the steps of your stairs. Plug your MP3 player in a use the steps for 20 - 30 minutes.
5. Swimming - Bum exercises can be fun by combining them with swimming. It will work wonders for your bum on its own but you can also combine it with you bum tenses. This will help even more.
6. Bike riding - Can you even remember when you last went on a bike? I bet the next day your bottom hurt a little as well because it wasn't used to it. It was hurting for 2 reasons. Firstly you bruised it slightly and secondly, you gave the muscles a good workout.
7. Jogging - If you are already quite fit then you should think about going jogging. You don't have to go too often, just 2 or 3 times per week is fine. Again, as I mentioned early, try to run where it is hilly as this will make you work harder and you will get the benefit.
8. Pole Dancing - I have left the most fun till last. Pole dancing lessons are now becoming a popular way to workout. Even if you have not done this before you can purchase DVDs and perform these fun bum exercises.
