Comparing Aweber and GetResponse--Choosing the Most Efficient Autoresponder

Both Aweber and Getresponse have been around for many years helping many would be entrepreneurs and webmasters build great relationships with their customers and subscribers using autoresponders. But there seems to be a never ending debate as to which autoresponder company is actually better.

I would first like to let you know that I have been using both Getresponse and Aweber for years, so I am very familiar with what both offer. This article won't be going into the price points and features as much because you can find a more detailed description of all of that at their respective websites.

Let's take a closer look at some of the intangibles and "feel" of each service as it relates to sending out emails specifically.

Getresponse seems to have an easier lay out when it comes to finding certain features. Aweber overall has a cleaner lay out in my opinion though. Both autoresponders have similar features but Getresponse seems to pack more features in at a lower price point.

The biggest advantage that Aweber has in my testing is email deliverability. I have not done any scientific tests to prove this but based on only my eyes, I've noticed that more emails from my Getresponse account go to the "spam" or "junk" folder compared to the same email being delivered through Aweber.

Although Aweber's email delivery is very good, I still use Getresponse as well because of the many interesting features that they have. After adding over 100,000 people to my lists I have found that using more that one service to do my promotions has allowed me to get the best of both worlds.
